CQ Researcher - explores a single "hot" issue in the news in depth each week. Topics range from social and teen issues to environment, health, education and science and technology.


PsycARTICLES - searchable full text articles on current issues in psychology. The database contains more than 39,000 searchable full text articles from 44 journals published by the American Psychological Association and 8 from allied organizations. It contains all journal articles, letters to the editor and errata from each of the 52 journals. Coverage spans from 1985 to the present.


PsycINFO - from the American Psychological Association, contains over two million citations and summaries of journal articles, book chapters, books and dissertations, all in psychology and related disciplines, dating as far back as 1840. Journal coverage, which dates back to the 1800s, includes international material selected from nearly 2,000 periodicals in over 24 languages. More than 65,000 records are added each year.

American Psychological Association -a scientific and professional organization that represents psychology in the United States.


Buros Center for Testing -search and browse tests listed in Mental Measurements Yearbook. A short description ONLY is available freely online. Access to test reviews is available free via the print Mental Measurements in the library or online for a small fee.


Educational Testing Service Test Collection -provides a searchable online database of tests. Results contain an abstract only and no reviews. A collection of almost 1200 tests can be downloaded individually for $25 each.


National Institute of Mental Health -Federal agency for research on mental and behavioral disorders.


PSYCLINE - guide to Psychology and Social Science journals on the Web.


Social Psychology Network - maintained by, Professor Scott Plous, Wesleyan University; contains thousands of searchable psychology links on a huge variety of topics.
