MSSU faculty who wish to schedule library instruction should call to arrange a session with Nancy Schiavone, Reference & Instruction Librarian, x9729, or Robert Black, Reference & Serials Librarian, x9310. Or provide the following information and e-mail this form to: LibrRef@mssu.edu
Please note that submitting this form alone does not confirm an instruction session. You will be contacted by a librarian to verify the time and clarify the content of your scheduled session.
When deciding upon preferred dates to visit the library, we recommend that classes meeting M-W-F, schedule two sessions for each group of students. This is suggested so that enough time will be allowed to cover both print and electronic resources. We anticipate covering location of materials, resources and equipment along with print resources during the first session and access to and navigation of electronic resources as well as student questions during the second session.
Whether calling or emailing the needed information, we ask that you provide us with a copy of any written assignment sheets you will be giving your students. We ask this so that a copy may be kept at the Reference desk in an effort to provide the best possible service to all students.
