Welcome from the Department Head:

 

To understand human behavior we must understand the societies in which we live. At Missouri Southern the Social Science Department focuses on the study of human societies: their history, government, social organization, laws, physical environment and cultural heritage. By offering a wide range of disciplines in the department, anthropology, geography, history, political science, paralegal studies, and sociology, we can encompass a variety of topics while maintaining a central focus.
