Campus Life

Inmages of Residence LifeUniversity life is much more than attending class, though education is of primary importance. Many of your favorite college memories may come from outside the classroom. A large part of residence life is the recreational and social areas that intermingle throughout the complex. Whether it is a round of Frisbee golf with friends, a game of sand volleyball or enjoying the company of friends at dinner, there is plenty to do outside of your room.

The Residence Hall Association (RHA) plays a large role in providing entertainment for our residence hall students. Some of the activities in the past are bowling nights, miniature golf, and laser tag as well as our Friday Night Activities schedule. Every Friday night you can expect an event such as a Texas Hold Em tournament, bingo, rock climbing night or free laundry and a movie night. RHA provide a wide range of activities to hopefully meet the needs of every student.

The residence halls recreation facilities add to the campus life here at MSSU. Located near the residence hall area is the Student Life Center, which is home to the student exercise room, aerobics studio, TV lounge, and Play Station II gaming center among other activities. Outside is the sand volleyball court, tennis court and basketball court as well as the 9-hole Frisbee golf course. Living on campus is more than just a room, it is an experience.
