- Report of a comprehensive evaluation of Missouri Southern
State College for continued accreditation at the baccalaureate
level that was conducted for the Commission on Institutions
of Higher Education of the North Central Association.

- The April 8, 1998 Report of a Visit by an Evaluation Team of the Commission of Institutions of Higher Education of the North Central Association recommended continued accreditation for Missouri Southern until the academic year 2007-2008, and required this progress report on two items.

Degree programs
offered through distance delivery:
- The Associate of Arts in General Studies, the
Associate of Science in Law Enforcement, the Associate
of Science in General Business, the Bachelor of Science
in Business Administration in General Business, the
Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, and the Bachelor
of Science in General Studies degrees have been in
place at Missouri Southern for many years. These degrees
are now available through distance delivery.

- Missouri Southern State University will offer degree
completion studies for students from H. Lavity Stoutt
Community College in Tortola, British Virgin Islands,

offer a cooperative Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT)
program in conjunction with Southwest Missouri State
University.
