Director, Department of Public Safety
Under the direction of the Director of Physical Plant Operations, the Director of the Department of Public Safety supervises the Department. He/she will ensure that DPS Personnel are properly trained and equipped to efficiently and effectively provide services to students, staff/faculty and visitors at Missouri Southern State University.

Office Manager
Under the direction of the Director of the DPS, the Office Manager facilitates the proper operation of the DPS office during the day shift. He/she will be in charge of the Department in the absence of the DPS Director.

Safety/Hazardous Materials Officer
Under the direction of the DPS Director, the Hazardous Materials Officer will facilitate the removal and disposal of chemical, biological and dangerous substances. He/she will be responsible for insuring the inspection and maintenance of fire protection equipment on campus.

DPS Officer
Under the direction of the DPS Director, the DPS Officers endeavor to make Missouri Southern State University a safer place for students, faculty/staff and visitors through directed patrols, traffic and parking enforcement, building checks, student/staff services, etc.
