Registration Procedure

Pre-Registration Instructions

Class schedules are usually available for Pre-Registration for the next fall semester around April 1.

Class schedules are usually available for Pre-Registration for the next summer semester around April 1.

Class Schedules are usually available for Pre-Registration for the next spring semester around Nov 1.

Pre-Registration is open to currently enrolled students only.

  1. Make an appointment with your advisor based on your approved date to register according to the following schedule. (see below) A list of available appointment times should be posted by the office door of the advisor.
  2. Obtain a DARS form from the Registrar's Office, 100 Hearnes Hall, beginning April 1, 2006. The DARS form will contain your academic record which will be helpful to you and your advisor in planning your schedule. Write in your current, local address if different from the one printed on the DARS.
  3. Be prompt in keeping your advisor appointment. Your advisor should assist in selecting appropriate classes; however, you share in the responsibility of selecting courses. Check your catalog for prerequisite requirements. You and your advisor should sign the first page of the DARS.
  4. After meeting with the major advisor, have the schedule entered in the computer terminal according to the hours posted by your department.

Pre-Registration for
Spring & Summer 2007

 

You may pick up your DARS beginning November 6th. You should schedule an appointment with your advisor but you CANNOT register until your assigned date based on the schedule below.

Nov. 10 Students with Disabilities, (must be pre-approved by the Coordinator of Disability Services) Honors, Junior & Senior Varsity Athletes and Junior & Senior Athletic Trainers and approved participants in Project STAY.
Nov. 13 Seniors with 90+ hours
Nov. 16 Juniors with 60+ hours
Nov. 27 Sophomores with 30+ hours
Nov. 29 Transfer Students
Nov. 30 Freshmen and Post Graduates with 1+ hours
Dec. 4 Open Enrollment

 

 

Students with Disabilities
Accommodations for students with disabilities are made on an individual basis based on the student's current documentation. Students who need services or would like more information should contact Melissa Locher (417.625.9516) in the Learning Center.
