Advanced Placement Credit

Missouri Southern participates in the Advanced Placement Program sponsored by the College Entrance Examination Board. Credits are granted for course areas in which a student has completed Advanced Placement Examinations with a score of 3, 4, or 5. See the chart below for AP exams accepted by MSSU. *Student must complete the Missouri Constitution Exam in order to fulfill State Legislation requirements. Sign up in the Dean of Arts & Sciences office in Hearnes Hall.

**Student may file a "General Academic Petition" with his or her advisor to request that AP Statistics fulfill the General Education Requirement for mathematics.  If a student is required by the major to take a specific math course, successful completion of AP Statistics will allow placement into MATH 130: College Algebra.
