Dr. Loreen Huffman,
Developmental Psychologist

Dr.
Huffman received her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from Rutgers University
in 1994. Her dissertation examined the emotional expressions of children
with autism in response to different kinds of stimuli. She has worked with
infants and children with AIDS, premature infants, and profoundly mentally
retarded adults. Previous research has examined the security of attachment
in adopted children, and the achievement of Head Start children as they
progress through grade school. Her current research interests include attachment
and parenting beliefs. She teaches General Psychology, Child
Development, Adolescent Development, and Psychology in Film.
