Dr. Bob McDermid, Counseling Psychologist


Dr. McDermid graduated from the University of Kansas with a Ph.D. in counseling psychology. He has taught at two other colleges prior to teaching at MSSU. He has also worked at two mental health centers, two college counseling centers, a research institute for learning disabilities, and a psychiatric hospital. At MSSU, he teaches General Psychology, Child & Adolescent Development, Human Sexuality, Computers in the Behavioral Sciences, and Senior Thesis. Dr. McDermid is currently Head of the Psychology Department.
