Qualifying for Project Stay

To qualify for Project Stay, students must be United States citizens or permanent residents, have at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average, and meet one of following qualifications:
  • be a first-generation college student (neither parent has a bachelor's degree or higher)
  • meet an income guideline (Please contact the office for more information.)
  • be a student with a disability

Students must also be regularly attending classes, completing coursework, and seeking a degree. Students who have already earned a bachelor's degree are not eligible for Project Stay. Applications may be held if the student's enrollment and/or withdrawal history suggests the student cannot graduate in six years.

If you have any questions about any of these qualifications, please  contact the Project Stay office.
