Reverence to . . . . . . . . .! Hail! From the victorious camp, possessed of shouts of victory acquired by the three constituents of power, (and) invincible through (its) equipment of great ships and elephants and horses and foot-soldiers, (and) situated near the fort of G matikottaka:--
(Line 2.)-(There was) . . . . . . . . . the illustrious M dhavagupta. His son, who meditated on his feet, (was) the most devout worshipper of the Divine One, the glorious Adityas nad va, begotten on the Paramabhatt rik the queen, the Mah d v , the glorious Shr mat d v .
(L. 3.)-His son, who meditated on his feet, (was) the most devout worshipper of (the god) Mah shvara, the Paramabhatt raka, Mah r j dhir ja, and [Param shvara], the glorious D vaguptad va, begotten on the Paramabhatt rik , the queen, the Mah d v , the glorious K nad v .
