  • Title: Accommodations and Modifications? Help! How Do We Modify Content Area Assessments for English Language Learners?
  • Presenters: Gloria Turner, Project SPEAK Instructional Coach, and Joplin ESL Teachers, Jeri Ann Goswick and Sally Lee
  • Date: Monday, April 15th, 2013

  • Description: Presenters will explain the difference between accommodations and modifications for ELL's.  They will clarify the concepts and show teachers how they can make simple adjustments to their class tests so that the assessments are appropriate to an ELL's language proficiency level.
