Taskforce Recommendations
As the Shared Governance Taskforce develops recommendations for approval of the Faculty Senate, the Staff Senate, the Student Senate, the Administration, and the Board of Governors, those proposals will be posted on this page.
The following hyperlink is connected to a document that contains a proposed philosophy statement, a list of guiding principles, and a list of goals for MSSU's system of shared governance.
During the spring 2009 semester, the taskforce conducted a survey to measure institutional attitudes and levels of satisfaction with respect to MSSU's shared governance infrastructure and processes. The survey was sent to the following five groups.
- Board of Governors
- Administration
- Faculty
- Professional Staff
- Classified Staff
