HOWDY!!!!

WELCOME TO MY ETHANOL PAGE. Through this site I hope you gain some simple information about ethanol. Most college students know about the use of ethanol through beer and gas consumption. This site will not focus on beer. Instead, it will concentrate on these aspects of ethanol:

bulletbasic facts
bulletproduction
bulletethanol use in gasoline
bulletadvantages of using ethanol, including the environment
bulletinteresting programs using ethanol

Ethanol is classified as an alcohol, and has many other names such as: ethyl alcohol, algrain, grain alcohol, and cologne spirit. It is a simple material, composed of 2 carbon atoms, an oxygen atom, and 6 hydrogen atoms.
