JOPLIN, MO (SNS) - Three Missouri Southern State University employees were honored in the annual Employee Appreciation Luncheon on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004.

The Superior Service Award recognizes non-academic staff members for superior service to students, alumni, faculty, staff, administrators and others. Faculty, staff and students nominate award recipients.

PHYSICAL PLANT EMPLOYEE:Georgia Mann, Joplin, Custodian Joined MSSU full time 8/14/2000.

PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEE: Kevin Greim, Joplin, Director of Sports Marketing Joined MSSU 3/1/1999.

SECRETARIAL / OFFICE / TECHNICAL EMPLOYEE: Terri Spencer, Joplin, Secretary in the Theater Department Joined MSSU full time 5/1/1994 (10 years) after working part time for nearly 3 years.

Each recipient received a plaque and a check for $500. The Missouri Southern Foundation funded the awards.
