JOPLIN, MO (SNS) - Missouri Southern State College, through its Institute of International Studies, will hold its annual study abroad fair from 8 a.m. to 1p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 12 in the Billingsly Student Center on campus. This year's fair, "Where in the World are YOU Going?" will take place in the second floor lounge, highlighting study abroad opportunities offered during the 2002-2003 academic year to Italy and Greece, Paris, India, Spain, Costa Rica, Sweden, Russia, England, China, and Chile. Door prizes, cookies and refreshments donated by Coca-Cola will be available for students and faculty. A local radio station will be broadcasting live from 11a.m. to 1p.m. Southern, through its international mission, provides grants for both students and faculty who wish to gain cultural awareness through studying abroad.
