Station to Present Missouri Legislative Update |
JOPLIN, MO (SNS) – KGCS-TV will air the program Missouri Legislative Update, at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27. The program, produced by the legislative video services in Jefferson City, highlights news from the state capitol. The program airing on Tuesday evening takes a look at the opening of the 93rd Missouri General Assembly and some of the major issues facing legislators. It contains opening day addresses from Senate President Pro Tem Michael Gibbons and House Speaker Rod Jetton. It will also highlight Governor Matt Blunt's State of the State Address. "This program allows area citizens to keep informed of news coming from Jefferson City," says Judy Stiles, KGCS General Manager. KGCS-TV, the television station at Missouri Southern State University, is a service of the Communication and Foreign Languages Department at MSSU. The station airs on Joplin/Webb city cable channel 7, UHF channel 57 and Mediacom channel 77.
