JOPLIN, MO (SNS) - Three MSSU Jazz Combos, under the direction of Phillip C. Wise, Music, will present a concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 29 in Webster Hall Auditorium.

"Jazz studies at Southern continues to grow in both quality and quantity," Dr. Wise says. "Improvisation is the key to all good jazz and the combo format allows this form of expression. This will be an engaging concert".

The Monday Combo will perform Just Another Blues, Ode to a Flugelhorn, and Autumn Leaves.

The Tuesday Combo will perform Blues in F, and One Foot In The Gutter.

The Wednesday Combo is performing Top & Bottom, Oh, Lady Be Good, and Serenity.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. This concert is free and open to the public.
