JOPLIN, MO (SNS) - The Annual Honors
Convocation at Missouri Southern State University took place on Tuesday,
April 19 in Taylor Performing Arts Center at MSSU.
Students were recognized as outstanding in their academic
departments. Students receiving special awards of recognition, in
addition to those receiving the Spencer-Bartlett Respect Awards and the
Outstanding Graduate Awards, were introduced.
Graduates from the Honors Program also were recognized.
Following the ceremony the students and their families attended a
special reception to further help recognize those receiving honors.
