JOPLIN, MO (SNS) - The first-quarter edition of Chamber Chat, a program produced by the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce, focuses on the value of membership in the chamber. Hosts are Kim Lester, Operations Manager, and Ginger LaMar, Membership Manager. They interview various chamber members about their involvement and interests in the organization. "We're glad to be able to work with the Chamber in the production of this program," says Judy Stiles, KGCS General Manager. "The program provides an additional opportunity for our students to gain hands-on experience in television production work, and it provides another link between the college and the community." Chamber Chat will first air at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 7 with follow-up airings at 6 p.m., Monday, Jan. 13 and Monday, Jan. 27. The program will also air on the second and fourth Mondays of February and March, at 6 p.m. Viewers may see the program on KGCS-TV, UHF Channel 57, and Joplin/Webb City Cable Channel 7. It is produced by KGCS for the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce. |
