Boombox Classroom Wins Top Honors for 2003

The judges' panel has awarded Boombox Classroom the 2003 Fine Arts Radio International® Awards trophy for outstanding achievement in classical music education.

Produced by Sweet Bird Classics and producer Marty Ronish, Ph.D., Boombox Classroom airs regularly on many public radio stations across the U.S.

Said the judges of the series: " Excellent tool for learning .    I wanted to gives these programs a perfect score .   Production and technical values are amazing overall sound quality is superior .   How admirable to have available a program that can be utilized by all people, (one) that encourages literacy.   Boombox Classroom is engrossing in its story lines and delivers a wallop in music education fun!

The annual Fine Arts Radio International® Awards contest recognizes radio programs or radio series containing a substantial amount of classical music education. Entries need not to be instructional in nature, but the educational component cannot not be incidental to the overall tone of the program or series.
