Missouri Southern State University, a NCAA Division II member institution and a member of the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA), is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach.
The responsibilities of the assistant coach are to support the head coach in all phases of a highly competitive Division II women’s soccer program including but not limited to, practice, game preparation, conducting and planning training and conditioning schedules, team travel, field maintenance, teaching soccer fundamentals and strategies to student-athletes, and academic monitoring and mentoring.
Qualifications include bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Competitive background in collegiate soccer preferred as well as one to two years of coaching experience at the club level or above. Goal keeper experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidate must have valid driver’s license and the ability to meet insurance requirements for driving university vehicles.

MSSU is accepting applications for two part-time Football Coaches. These positions are paid Internships with no benefits. These positions will assist the Head Football Coach and Assistant Coaches in assigned areas which include but are not limited to: motivating and monitoring student athletes academic performance; assisting with game-planning, filming, video editing and evaluation; on-field instruction for offense, defense and in the kicking game; and assisting with summer camps.
Requires a bachelor's degree and successful football coaching experience.

MSSU is accepting applications for an Athletics Compliance Intern. This person will coordinate and monitor official and unofficial visits, maintain team rosters and eligibility checklists, update department policies and procedures manual, coordinate admission and certification of transfer student-athletes, maintain CA, monitor recruiting, review and input playing and practice seasons, coordinate the completion of NCAA/MIAA forms, assist in submission of data for NCAA, MIAA and University departments and other duties as assigned. Position is a 9-month contract with an $8,000 stipend.
Requires a bachelor's degree. Prefer experience in athletic compliance or within admissions, registrar or an academic counseling unit. Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to work with a large and diverse staff.

MSSU is currently seeking applications for a Radio Play-by-Play Announcer. This person will act as the radio play-by-play announcer for home and away football, basketball and selected baseball and softball games. Record segments for football and basketball pre-game shows, coach' interviews, highlight segments, player interviews, conference updates, etc. Emcee various MSSU athletic events, such as, voice radio commercials and promotional announcements. Other duties as assigned.
Position requires a minimum 3 years work-related skill, knowledge or experience, or any combination of education and experience. Current driver's license required.
Position is a 9-month contract with a $9,000 stipend.

MSSU is currently seeking applications for Sports Medicine Internships and will be hiring for four (4) positions. The Athletic Training Internship is a 10-month position beginning August 1st. Interns will be assigned 2 sports throughout the course of the year. Interns will cover practices and games for their assigned sports. During the typical school day, treatments will be administered in the morning from 8-12. Interns will be expected to maintain appropriate records using SportsWare and Impact. Interns will provide injury prevention, evaluation of all injuries as well as treatment and rehabilitation as needed. Team travel is expected. Due to conference policy, athletic trainer certification is required to travel. Additional responsibilities are possible as assigned by the full-time staff. Compensation includes a $10,000 stipend per academic year and Missouri licensure fees paid. Additional salary is available through camp coverage.
Position requires a bachelor's degree with graduation from an accredited athletic training program, certification in First Aid & CPR/AED-PR (or equivalent), NATABOC Athletic Trainer Certification preferred, Missouri Athletic Trainer licensure eligible. Valid driver's license required.
