Assistant Women's Soccer Coach (Part-time, Intern)

Missouri Southern State University, a NCAA Division II member institution and a member of the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA), is seeking applicants for the part-time, internship position of Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach. 

The responsibilities of the assistant coach intern include supporting the head coach in all phases of a highly competitive Division II women’s soccer program including but not limited to, practice, game preparation, conducting and planning training and conditioning schedules, team travel, field maintenance, teaching soccer fundamentals and strategies to student-athletes, and academic monitoring and mentoring.

Qualifications include the following: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university required. Competitive background in collegiate soccer preferred as well as one to two years of coaching experience at the club level or above. Goal keeper experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidate must have valid driver’s license and the ability to meet insurance requirements for driving university vehicles. Compensation will be $1,250/month.  The current appointment will end July 31, 2015, with option to renew annually from August 1st to July 31st.
