Adjunct Instructor Earth Science

The Chemical and Physical Sciences Department at Missouri Southern State University is seeking an adjunct instructor who will be able to teach laboratories in earth science. The instructor will teach two  three-hour laboratory sessions per week starting January 13, 2015, and must be able to coordinate the laboratory content with material covered in the lecture course.  Laboratories will include activities in geology, meteorology, and astronomy.  The successful candidate must have a Masters degree or higher in an earth science-related field and demonstrated experience in various aspects of earth science.   Applicants should submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae with the names, addresses, email and phone numbers of three references, and unofficial transcripts to FacultyVitae@mssu.edu. Assistant Professor Physics

The Chemical and Physical Sciences Department at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri, seeks applicants for a one-year annually renewable faculty position in Physics at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in August 2015. Qualifications: Earned doctorate degree in physics or related area; ABD may be considered. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled.
