Academic and Faculty
Missouri Southern State University is seeking applicants for a one-year renewable appointment in the Department of Kinesiology. The position is a full-time, non-tenure track opening beginning August, 2013. The successful candidate will teach a combination of undergraduate courses in the areas of Health Promotion and Wellness and/or Physical Education Teacher Education. The courses taught will be based on departmental need.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Physical Education or related field with an earned doctorate preferred. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of effective teaching at the university level. In addition, responsibilities will include service on departmental, college, and university committees plus advising physical education and health promotion majors. Preference will also be given to candidates who have at least three years of successful teaching experience.
Salary
Low to mid 40’s for a 10-month contract.
