Job Description/Responsibilities

Missouri Southern State University is seeking applicants to teach physical activity courses in the Department of Kinesiology. This is an Adjunct Faculty position. The course taught will be based on departmental need.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree with at least two years of experience teaching the physical activity related class.  In addition, the following qualifications are required:

  • Ability to work with diverse individuals
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of safe exercise technique and principles
  • Ability to effectively demonstrate all skills being taught to students
  • Maintain a professional attitude toward responsibilities
  • Be punctual and exhibit a positive attitude
  • Possess minimum approved certification level
