The Communication Department at Missouri Southern State University invites applications for a position in Public Relations/Strategic Communication. Applicant must exhibit ability to lead a growing BA/BS program in public relations/strategic communication and teach courses in the current program. Other responsibilities include serving as faculty advisor to MSSU's PRSSA chapter. Professional public relations or related experience required. Position requires a commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level. An MA in public relations or related experience required; a PhD is preferred. Course load, rank and tenure dependent on qualifications. This appointment is scheduled to begin August 2014. Screening will begin immediately and continue until a qualified candidate is selected.
