The Communication Department at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri invites applications for a position in Public Relations/Strategic Communication. Preference will be given to applicants who can teach the following courses: Crisis Communication, Strategic Writing, Listening and Negotiation, Public Relations, Leadership and/or Ethics of Strategic Communication.
A Ph.D. or ABD in public relations or strategic communication is preferred but an M.A. will be considered. Rank and tenure dependent upon qualifications. This appointment is scheduled to begin August 2015. The position requires a commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level.
