Campus Tours

Selecting the perfect college is an exciting process of discovery!

The best way to find the “right fit” is to visit the campus, experience a typical day, meet faculty and students and learn about the opportunities offered. The staff of the Admissions' Office will do our best to customize your visit to your specific interests.

In addition to viewing classrooms, dining facilities and dorm rooms, appointments may be scheduled with faculty, financial aid counselors and/or coaches.

Weekday Campus Tour

Weekday campus tours will be conducted while classes are in session, during the fall and spring semesters.

August 22, 2011 - May 9, 2012:

Tour times are:

10:00 a.m., Monday, Wednesday, Friday
9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Thursday
1:30 p.m., Monday-Friday

Campus Tours are offered during the summer -- June 6th to July 28th -- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 10:00am.

You may make a tour reservation either by calling 417.625.9364 OR email tours@mssu.edu OR online @ Reserve your spot!

A Weekday Campus Tour includes:

A tour of campus, including residence halls, by a current MSSU student.
The opportunity to speak with an Admissions Counselor about Admissions and Financial Aid information.
The opportunity to have an academic appointment with a faculty member in your area(s) of interest. (In order to schedule academic appointments with faculty, the Admissions Office requires one week advance notice of your intention to visit our campus.)

Tours begin at 9:30 a.m.; check-in location is the Admissions Office, 311 Hearnes Hall.

A Saturday Tour includes:

A tour of campus, including residence halls, by a current MSSU student.
The opportunity to speak with an admissions counselor about Admissions and Financial Aid information.
Academic appointments with a faculty member in your area(s) of interest ARE NOT available during Saturday tours.

Discovery Days at Missouri Southern

Discovery Days offer a glimpse of a typical day at Missouri Southern.

Breakout sessions, campus tour, meeting with faculty or Admissions Counselors, and even a free lunch will be included in a typical Discovery Day agenda.
