OMICRON DELTA KAPPA
THE NATIONAL LEADERSHIP HONOR SOCIETY
CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
(BY TUE SEP 11)
RECOGNIZE YOUR OUTSTANDING STUDENT LEADERS
September 6, 2012
Dear MSSU Colleagues:
We are in the process of membership selection for the Golden Crest Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa, the premiere national leadership honor society. Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) recognizes exemplary leadership, scholarship, and character. Membership in ODK is a mark of excellence recognized by colleagues nation-wide. Because this is an active campus organization, nominations of students with junior class standing are particularly encouraged so some members will be able to be involved for two years.
You are invited to submit names of candidates that are worthy of this high honor. The minimum criteria for consideration are found on the next page. Please especially note the requirements for: 1) broad-based leadership in three different areas; 2) upper division standing (minimum of 60 or more credit hours completed); and 3) a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
Please e-mail the names and student numbers (SID) of your nominees to Michael Garoutte (garoutte-m@mssu.edu) by next Tuesday, September 11. We need the student numbers to identify your nominees and verify their eligibility.
Sincerely,
Michael Garoutte, Ph. D.
Elaine Freeman, Ph.D.
