JOPLIN, MO (SNS) – The 5 Browns, 3 sisters and 2 brothers ranging in age from 22 to 28, will be interviewed by Jeff Skibbe during this Friday's "Southern Serenade" between 5-6 p.m. 

 

Tagged by the press as "The Fab Five," these talented pianists all attended the Juilliard School of Music together. 

 

They have received extraordinary press coverage and have made innumerable guest appearances on shows ranging from Oprah, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Performance Today (recipient of the 2007 Karl Haas Prize for Music Education by 88.7KXMS/Fine Arts Radio International).

 

In 2005, The 5 Browns CD spent eight weeks at the top of "Billboard" magazine's classical music chart.  No Boundaries, their second CD, was number one on the classical chart for 21 weeks. 

 

Their latest CD is called Browns in Blue, showcasing their 50 fingers at the keyboards in works ranging from Schubert to Gershwin and beyond.
