JOPLIN , MO (SNS) – Are you approaching retirement and ready to make plans for the years ahead? Do you know what you want to do with the rest of your life?

This summer, Missouri Southern State University will present the Continuing Education course “Reinventing Yourself: Life Planning After 50” to help get you on your way.

The course, taught by James Brown, Ph.D., will meet in the MSSU Learning Center. The course will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. on four successive Mondays June 5, June 12, June 19 and June 26.

The course will use the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator, the Self-Directed Search, and Holland’s People Types to help participants ask the right questions to explore and discover who they are and what they really want to do with the rest of their lives.

The course also will use exercises, activities, class discussions and reading material to help understand and balance the four aspects of life: work, play, learning and relationships.

The fee for the course is $25 plus $17 for texts and materials.

In addition to that course, MSSU will feature ten other Continuing Education courses this summer (see attached material).
