JOPLIN, MO, (SNS) – Artist Christa Dalien will show new drawings Sept. 3- Sept. 28 in the Spiva Art Gallery at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin.
Dalien will deliver a public lecture at 4 p.m. on Sept. 4 in Room 106 of Webster Hall.
Following the lecture, a special reception will be held in the Spiva Art Gallery beginning at 5 p.m.
Dalien is an artist currently living in Lawrence, Kan. She works in a variety of different mediums including installation, drawing, painting, and printmaking.
Originally from Minnesota, she received her BFA in Painting in 2003.
She moved to Lawrence to pursue a MFA in printmaking from the University of Kansas, which she received in 2007.
