JOPLIN, MO (SNS) - An upcoming edition of the Newsmakers interview program focuses on steps being taken by the Joplin School District to rebuild facilities and to develop programs. Guests include Joplin Schools Superintendent Dr. C.J. Huff and Joplin School Board President Ashley Micklethwaite.
They discuss the process involved and timetable for rebuilding schools destroyed by the May tornado. They also share information about the financing challenges and reflect on the community support that has come to the schools in the aftermath of the tornado.
This program airs for the first time on KGCS-TV next Tuesday evening, with repeat airings scheduled throughout the upcoming weeks. Airdates include:
Tuesday, Dec. 13 – 5:30 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 18 – 5:30 p.m.
Monday, Dec. 19 – 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 20 – 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 21 – 5:30 p.m.
The program will also air at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24 on KOAM-TV.
