JOPLIN, MO (SNS) - The MSSU Small Business & Technology Development Center (SBTDC) held an award ceremony to honor Wildwood Ranch Development Inc., a client of Lisa Robinson, on Friday, February 6, in Cornell Auditorium in The Robert W. Plaster School of Business Administration on the campus of Missouri Southern State University. 

 

Representative Marilyn Ruestman and Senator Gary Nodler presented Wildwood Ranch Development Inc. with legislative resolutions honoring the impact of their enterprise on the economic development of the state. 

 

Representatives from the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for the event. 

 

Also in attendance at the ceremony were: MSSU President Dr. Bruce Speck; Dr. Brad Kleindl, Dean of The Robert W. Plaster School of Business Administration; Jim Krudwig, SBTDC Director; Karen Bradshaw, Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship; and Kathy Macomber, Business Development Specialist serving Southwest Missouri. 

 

Special thanks are in order for the MSSU Information Technology Services Department for their extra help and assistance with computer troubleshooting and equipment for the event.
