FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Dr. Hillary Fogerty
JOPLIN, MO (SNS) - "Out and Allied: An Academic Symposium on Sexual Orientation, Representation and Civil Rights" will take place on Thursday and Friday, April 16 - 17 on the campus of Missouri Southern State University.
Dr. Hillary Fogerty, associate professor of English-Philosophy, says the symposium will feature a wide variety of panel discussions, roundtables, films, student events and other activities. The schedule for the symposium includes the following events:
THURSDAY, APRIL 16
3 p.m.--4:15 p.m. -- Hearnes Hall, Room 320
6 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. -- Cornell Hall, Robert W. Plaster School of Business Administration
7:30 - 8:30 p..m. -- The Pavilion (outdoors near Biology Pond south of Plaster Hall)
