JOPLIN, MO (SNS) - "Out and Allied: An Academic Symposium on Sexual Orientation, Representation and Civil Rights" will take place on Thursday and Friday, April 16 - 17 on the campus of Missouri Southern State University.

 

Dr. Hillary Fogerty, associate professor of English-Philosophy, says the symposium will feature a wide variety of panel discussions, roundtables, films, student events and other activities.

The schedule for the symposium includes the following events:
