FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE April Hill

Approximately 30 local businesses and agencies will be present from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. on the campus oval and in the Lions Den Area inside Billingsly Student Center. They will display what they are doing to be environmentally friendly and will demonstrate ways for the community to do the same.
Student designs for a new MSSU sustainability logo will be on display in the second floor corridor area of Reynolds Hall and also inside Spiva Library.
The Environmental Health Club will sell t-shirts. Those on hand are invited to share in Earth-friendly freebies (including pizza) given away on a first-come, first-serve basis.
"This is a great opportunity to get in on the cutting edge of the "green" movement in your community, so make sure to stop by and check it out," says April Hill of the Missouri Southern Environmental Health Club.
Earth Day 2009 at MSSU is sponsored by the Environmental Health Club and Chemistry Club and Biology Club, with the help of several members of the Missouri Southern faculty and staff.
