JOPLIN, MO (SNS) – KGCS-TV will televise a live forum featuring the candidates for the Joplin R-VIII School Board at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 26. The program is presented in cooperation with the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce.

The program will be hosted by Judy Stiles, KGCS General Manager. Three candidates are seeking two positions on the school board.

They are Doug Hunt, Jim Kimbrough and Anne Sharp. Joplin voters go to the polls on April 7 to vote for the school board candidates.

KGCS programming may be seen over-the-air on digital channel 22. It also airs on Cable One Channel 7 and Mediacom channel 77.
