JOPLIN, MO (SNS) – A Women’s Leadership Conference will be held from 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 24 in Cornell Auditorium, Plaster Hall Room 201 at Missouri Southern State University.

This conference provides information for entrepreneurs, managers or those just starting careers on ways women can better market themselves and their companies in uncertain economic times.  A difficult economic landscape requires more creativity, imagination and resourcefulness.

Speakers will help those attending learn how to target new segments of customers, create new promotions, and provide a better level of customer service.

Women need to be able to analyze the primary opportunities and challenges facing them in business.  The conference will help them cultivate strong workplace communication techniques that produce superior results.  It will help them make “lemonade out of lemons.”

Considering the ideas of co-workers leads one to creative and effective approaches to solving problems and getting work done.

The cost for the workshop is $10.
