JOPLIN, MO (SNS) - Registration for the spring semester at Missouri Southern State University will take place from 1- 4:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 10 and Friday, Jan. 11 in departmental offices throughout the campus.

 

Faculty and staff will be available after 1 p.m. on these days for advising and registration.

Evening registration will be held from 5:30-7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 10 on the first floor of Hearnes Hall.

 

Incoming freshman will register during the Fresh Start Program scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 10 Reservations are required. Those interested should contact the Coordinator of New Student Programs at (417) 625-3158 for details.

 

Incoming Transfer students should report to the Admissions Office, Hearnes Hall Room 109 for a permit to register.

 

A complete listing of course offerings is available in schedule booklets distributed to area residents and on the World Wide Web at www.mssu.edu. Schedule booklets also are available in various offices on the MSSU campus.

 

Persons may contact the Office of Admissions at (417) 781-6778 or (866) 818-6778 for information about enrollment or other programs offered by Southern. These include the Learning Center, Small Business Development Center, credit-in-escrow and residence life.

 

For information concerning the “Sixty Plus” program for senior citizens, or continuing education courses students should call (417) 625-9368.
