FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
JOPLIN, MO (SNS) - Missouri Southern State University President Dr. Bruce Speck will discuss a number of topics concerning higher education and MSSU in an upcoming edition of the KGCS-TV program Newsmakers.
The interview will feature a follow up to the business and education summit hosted by MSSU in the spring and the role of community and business support for education.
Dr. Speck also will talk about budget challenges facing MSSU and actions being taken to deal with the situation. Other topics covered will include the development of strategic planning on campus and work that will continue throughout the summer on campus.
The Newsmakers interview will air a number of times the first week of June on KGCS-TV. Air times and dates include:
The program will also air at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, June 7 on KOAM-TV.
KGCS programming may be seen on UHF channel 57, Cable One Channel 7 and Mediacom Channel 77.
