JOPLIN, MO (SNS) - A news conference regarding the search for Missouri Southern State University's next President is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., Friday, Jan. 18 in Billingsly Student Center 2nd floor lounge at Missouri Southern State University.
           

Mr. Dwight Douglas, chair of the MSSU Board of Governors and chair of the Search Committee for MSSU's next President, will make an announcement.
           

Dr. Bruce W. Speck, Provost and Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tenn., visited the MSSU campus Wednesday and met with faculty, students and staff.
