JOPLIN, MO (SNS) - Randy Christian, a member of the faculty of the Social Sciences Department at MSSU, will be the next guest on the Missouri Southern Live! radio show at 5 p.m., Wednesday, June 11 on 88.7KXMS.
Christian and host Jeff Skibbe together will explore the development of the political parties throughout American history as well as the rise and influences of the state primaries and caucuses. The two also will plumb the history of the Electoral College.
Also in the hour, Garrison Keillor reflects on the historical events of the day, including the first-ever FM broadcast demonstration in Alpine, NJ, in 1935, on “The Writer’s Almanac.”
