FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Judy Stiles
JOPLIN, MO (SNS) - "Southern Reflections," a series of television programs featuring retiring faculty members at Missouri Southern State University, begins airing Monday, May 19 on KGCS-TV.
The half-hour programs feature retirees from the Spring of 2008. The series will air Monday evenings at 9:30 p.m., with programs repeating at other times throughout the week.
"We invited retiring faculty members to come to the studio to visit and share their memories and thoughts about their careers at Missouri Southern. The programs feature insight into each person's background and area of emphasis, as well as their reflections on their years on campus," says Judy Stiles, KGCS-TV General Manager.
The first program features Communication Professor Dr. Robert Clark. Others interviewed for the series include Mr. Nick Kyle from the Art Department, Dr. Neal Blades from Marketing, Dr. Gwen Murdock from Psychology, Dr. Allen Merriam from Communication, and Dr. Betsy Griffin, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs.
KGCS programming may be seen on UHF channel 57, Cable One channel 7 and Mediacom channel 77.
