American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and its member pediatricians dedicate their efforts and resources to the health, safety and well-being of infants, children, adolescents and young adults. The AAP has approximately 55,000 members in the United States, Canada and Latin America. Members include pediatricians, pediatric medical subspecialists and pediatric surgical specialists. More than 34,000 members are board-certified and called Fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). This site includes AAP news, research information and professional education courses.

Advocates for Youth
Dedicated to creating programs and promoting policies which help young people make informed and responsible decisions about their sexual and reproductive health. They provide information, training, and advocacy to youth-serving organizations, policy makers, and the media.

American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Covers all aspects of psychiatry: breaking news, legislation, press, journal and publication listings, clinical practice and managed care, and public health. Includes facts and resources, research, clinical practice and training in child and adolescent psychiatry.


Immunizations for Children and Youth
It is the goal of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to enhance current immunization efforts in order to achieve and maintain at least 90 percent coverage for all recommended vaccines in all populations and to eliminate remaining disparities among groups.
