Center for Multilingual Multicultural Research
The Center is an organized research unit at the University of Southern California, facilitating the research collaboration, dissemination and professional development activities of faculty, students, and others across School of Education, university and outside organizational lines. Faculty in the Rossier School of Education developed the USC Center for Multilingual, Multicultural Research in the Spring of 1983, as a result of deliberations of the Dean's Task Force for Bilingual Crosscultural Education. The Center provides a base for those interested in multilingual education, English-as-a second language, and foreign language instruction, multicultural education and related areas; and the opportunity to come together for research and program collaboration. There are four principal activities the Center strives for: (1) research; (2) publications; (3) training; and (4) public service.

CHIME (Clearinghouse for Immigrant Education)
CHIME is an interactive database and networking service that facilitates public access to literature, research, Internet resources, and reform strategies to promote the effective education of immigrant students. CHIME offers customized searches of its database, free periodic reviews of the collection on selected topics, and other resources. CHIME is available to assist schools, parents, advocates, students, and others who support the school success of immigrant students and who are working to build a multicultural U.S. society.

Electronic Magazine of Multicultural Education
EMME is an on-line magazine for scholars, practitioners and students of multicultural education. In order to reach the wide audience in the U. S. and international communities we are committed to make this magazine available only in the electronic format and free of charge to the public.

Grass Roots Press
Grass Roots Press provides a full line of literacy materials and resources for practitioners and students. National Association for Multicultural Education (NAME)
The Founders of NAME envisioned an organization that would bring together individuals and groups with an interest in multicultural education from all levels of education, different academic disciplines and from diverse educational institutions and occupations. NAME today is an active, growing organization, with members from throughout the United States several other countries. Educators from preschool through higher education and representatives from business and communities comprise NAME's membership. Members in a 25 states have formed NAME chapters and more chapters are in the process of forming.
