Institute of St. Louis
The International Institute of St. Louis
has been helping people from around the world become self-sufficient
St. Louisans. Institute staff and volunteers annually help
almost 6,000 immigrants and refugees from more than 40 countries.

Jewish
Vocational Service- Kansas City
Jewish Vocational Service of Kansas City
assists any individual with barriers to employment to become
more self-reliant through employment, training, personal
development and support services. Services include Refugee
Employment Services, including job coaching, subsidized
employment, translation, job seeking skills, and job placement
services to the resettled refugee community. JVS is a private,
not-for-profit corporation organized to provide vocational
instruction and life skill training to adults with employment
barriers, help individuals with limited employment opportunities
recognize their potential and maximize independence by making
it possible for clients to participate in decisions and
affairs affecting their lives.

include: Children's Services Programs, Income Maintenance
& Self-Sufficiency Programs, Rehabilitation Services for
the Blind, Other Programs or Information: Community Services,
Block Grant Programs, Low Income Home Energy Assistance,
Refugee Resettlement, Division of Child Support Enforcement,
Early Childhood Grants & Resources.
