Dorothea B. Hoover Historical Museum
Operated by the Joplin Historical Society, this museum emphasizes historic growth and development of Joplin in the Victorian period. On display are assorted historic items from Joplin s mining era, an extensive doll collection and the  citrus room.  Learn about Joplin s early days and such places as the Keystone Hotel and famous House of Lords.
