Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Division of Special Education
The Division of Special Education assists school districts in establishing and improving services for children with disabilities. It also operates the Missouri School for the Deaf, Missouri School for the Blind, State Schools for the Severely Handicapped and Sheltered Workshops.

Saline County Learning Center
A not-for-profit organization whose mission is to advance education in rural Missouri through state-of-the-art technology and training. Its emphasis is making technology such as computers and the Internet readily available to rural residents and implement learning programs for all ages and walks of life, including the developmentally challenged, those with language barriers, gifted students and the illiterate.
