| Test 2 will be on Monday, April 20. The topics are covered in the linear notes shown below. The Theorems you will be asked to prove from those notes are Theorem 1, 5, and 6. In addition, if you are given a diagram of an algorithm for back-substitution, gaussan elimination, or finding the inverse of a matrix you will be expected to find the FLOP cost. We will not include the LU-factorization on this exam. |
