Enrollment Procedures

Adult students 21 years of age or older do not have to present ACT scores. Distance learning students do not pay on-campus activity fees unless also enrolled in on-campus courses. Either before or after enrollment, students will have to complete the admission form and pay the one-time 15 dollar admission charge. Students should have the necessary prerequisites before enrolling in a particular course, however, because of the difficulty of sequencing in off-campus courses some prerequisites may be waived on an individual basis. Out-of-state tuition is waived for internet students - tuition is charged at the in-state rate. There is an additional per credit hour Distance Learning Fee associated with all Distance Learning formats.

Any distance learning student who has not contacted their instructor or participated in course activities prior to the end of the first week of classes may be dropped from that class. Just prior to the beginning of the semester, you should be able to access your course site through the following URL: http://mssu.blackboard.com.  The username consists of your Student ID, and the default password is your first name, all lower case.
