TESTING AT OFF-CAMPUS LOCATIONS

If you choose to take your exam at the Monett, Lamar, or Nevada site you do not need to fill out a proctor form, however, you will need to contact The Lifelong Learning Office at (417) 625-9577 to schedule your tests.

If you live beyond the Joplin, Nevada, Lamar, or Monett testing sites a form to obtain approval of a proctor is required. See the links below for printable pdf documents explaining guidelines and the agreement form. The form will have to be filled out by the proposed proctor prior to the first exam. Proctors are generally high-school counselors, local librarians, or approved company or public officials. Proctors must have fax capability. The Director of Continuing Education/Lifelong Learning must approve all proctors before tests will be faxed to a proctor’s location. You will have to present a picture ID of yourself to the Proctor before taking your exam. If required, you may have to pay a minimal testing fee to the Proctor for their time and effort. Call (417) 625-9577 or our toll free number at (866) 727-4108 for more information.

TESTING FOR INTERNET COURSES

Your Internet instructor may require you to come to campus for testing, your instructor will provide you with their testing time and location. Those students with day or time conflicts should contact their instructor for different arrangements. If you live beyond driving distance to Joplin and plan to utilize a proctor you should make your instructor aware of your need. The same requirements as stated above apply concerning the approval of a proctor.
